Identity Theft

A method of identity theft has been reported that is important to note.  Recently, a resident's checking account information was obtained by a thief who used it to order a box of checks.   This thief met the delivery driver at the home and stole the box of checks when they were delivered.  Please note that many banks allow you to sign up for alerts when checks are ordered or transactions made.   UPS and FedEx also have signups to alert you if packages are going to be delivered.   These may be helpful in preventing fraudulent transactions.
