4th Annual Creepy Crawly 5K
Camden Place resident and future PA, Lauren Eppert, sends the following info......
The 4th Annual Creepy Crawly 5K is coming soon. It is to raise money for the Good Samaritan Health Center in Gwinnett, a 501c3 organization that provides healthcare to the uninsured in the community. Our class is really invested in this clinic, and every week we send three 1st year students to see patients in the evenings. Our 2nd year students are some of the providers throughout the week as well, as it is one of our clinical rotation sites.
The race is at Mercer University's Atlanta campus - 3001 Mercer University Drive Atlanta, GA 30341 at 8:30am on October 24th. The entry fee for the race is $25, and all participants will get a T-shirt and snacks after the race. Costumes are encouraged, and pets are welcome too. There are prizes for first second and third place, a prize for the best costume, and a five day pass to doggy day care at Central Bark for the first and second place runners with dogs.
