ECCA April General Membership Meeting

Our April speaker is State Representative Sharon Cooper. All members of the community are invited to hear Rep. Roadwork is taking place in a variety of areas of East Cobb during the first week of April, including:
· Jamerson Road/Wigley Road
· Sprayberry intersection
· Railroad Crossing to Lee Waters Road
· Lee Waters Road to Trickum Road
· Trickum Road to Jims Road
· Jims Road to Sandy Plains Road
· Lower Roswell & Johnson Ferry at Lower Roswell (Gas lines)

Restaurants and caterers from around the county will line the Square for this year’s event that includes concerts on four stages, and a Kid’s Alley with moonwalks. Admission is free. For information, go to www.tasteofmarietta.com.
This year’s event showcases 30 of the area’s finest restaurants along with more than 30 other local merchants and small businesses. Live jazz performances will take place throughout the day, and the Kid’s Zone will host giant bounce inflatables, face painting and hands-on activities suitable for all ages. Admission is free. Residents are invited to find a new best friend to take home at Cobb County Animal Control's Adopt-A-Thon. The event includes vendors, food, police K-9 demonstrations, special adoption rates and a raffle. People will also have the chance to meet the county's on-staff veterinarian.
