Pool Opening Information---please read
Due to the clubhouse being under
major construction until approximately late June, the pool area will obviously be affected a great
deal. We have put together a tentative pool schedule. We will do our best to
stick to it. However, issues beyond
our control may affect the schedule and we ask that everyone be cooperative and
understanding to the situation.
Important
Dates to Note:
Monday,
May 12th - Swim Team Practice Begins (Only
coaches and swimmers will be allowed on pool deck area) Parents may view
practice from Pavilion. This is a safety issue.
Friday,
May 16th – Pool Opens to Neighborhood –
6:30pm-9:00pm
Wednesday,
May 21st - Last Day of School - NO PARTY, BUT
POOL STILL OPEN: 3pm-9pm (We will
schedule a party during the summer once the
clubhouse is completed)

Area Conditions and Concerns
We are working on having the necessary sanitary
facilities (port-a-johns, hand washing
stations, drinking water, etc) in place
when the pool opens in May. This is clearly not an ideal situation, so you are
welcome to hold off on using the pool facilities until our clubhouse bathrooms
are in working order (this is the first priority of the construction
plan).
If you would like to use the pool in May then you
will have to adjust your expectations and make the best of it.
The
pool deck area near the clubhouse will be fenced off in some way. Everyone must
keep clear of that area. Parents advise
your children of the areas that are off-limits and assist them in following the
rules. Again, this is a major safety
issue.
Lifeguards will have the right to enforce these
extra safety rules.

The HOA is confident that once the construction is
completed the new clubhouse will better serve our neighborhood for many years
to come.
