Document Shredding Day In October
Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Piedmont Church 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, Ga. 30066Keep Cobb Beautiful in conjunction with Keep Marietta Beautiful, Keep Smyrna Beautiful and Keep Powder Springs Beautiful will again offer a Document Shredding Day for Cobb. This is your opportunity to have household papers securely shredded on site, at no cost to you. Each car will be limited to 100 pounds of documents to be shredded. ONLY PAPER PRODUCTS. Mabry Park Preview Day
Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 4495 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, Ga. 30066The Friends of Mabry Park, along with Cobb County Parks and Recreation, will be hosting a Park Preview at Mabry Park. There will be walking tours of the park land, kid’s activities, and a K-9 demonstration! This beautiful park land is not yet accessible to the public except during special events like this. Don't miss this rare opportunity to come see this magnificent property for yourself!
Park your car at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 4495 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta GA 30066. From there, a shuttle will take you to the park land. Put on your hiking boots or athletic shoes, and come on out and enjoy a beautiful fall day at Mabry Park.
