Fire Department Training
Provided to us from WellStar:
We wanted to let you know that beginning this Sunday, February 17th through Friday, March 1st, the Cobb County Fire Dept. will be conducting training exercises in the home on the WellStar property on Providence Rd. In order for all shifts to receive this training they will be onsite every day for the period indicated above.
The fire station that will provide service for the WellStar East Cobb Health Park (on Oak Lane) will be supervising and conducting the training, and they have assured us that at no time will live fire be used. The smoke they will be using during the simulations is machine made and poses no danger.
We are glad we could accommodate their request to utilize this unoccupied home for these valuable drills prior to our site work beginning in early March. We support our public safety officials and thank them for all they do to keep our community safe!
