Dog Waste
Numerous complaints are still coming in about cleaning up after pets. Signs have been posted in common areas to remind pet owners to clean up pet waste. It is a Cobb County ordinance. Violators can be reported. However, MANY homeowners are complaining about pet waste in their yards.Based on the complaints here is a list of things you can do to be courteous of your neighbors:
- Pick up the poop and take it with you
- Do not allow your pets to pee in other people's grass, use non-grassy areas. Animal urine causes brown spots.
- If you use a retractable leash, keep the dog near you. Not everyone appreciates a dog exploring their yard.
- Tell your dog walkers and your children (young and old) to do the same.
