DOT to Pick Up Cobb Storm Debris
Residents must schedule debris pick up this week.
As East Cobb continues to recover from Thursday's EF-1 tornado, the Cobb County Department of Transportation announced this afternoon that crews will soon begin cleaning up storm debris.
Residents must move debris to the curb and contact the DOT this week to schedule a pick up, according to a post on Cobb County's Facebook page.
"DOT staff will shift from grass cutting and other operations in order to handle these requests, so we ask the public to be patient as crews work as efficiently as possible," according to the Facebook post. "Pick up operations should last about two weeks."
